		<description>Here&#039;s a follow up that explains the magic of my toaster:  according to Customer Service, the toaster was made in 1980 and I graduated from college in June 1980.  I was a sophomore in  the 1976/1977 academic year which means someone else bought the toaster, used it (wrapped foil around around the bottom to collect crumbs) and then donated it to the Salvation Army all at least three years before it was made:
